Hills M2 Motorway - Status of Stage 2 Improvement Works on the Interim Cycle Detour

This is a list of the Stage 2 works as listed by the RTA. All items other than the last two are in Ryde Council area, the last two are in Hornsby. The RTA is fundung the councils for the work. $500,000 has been allocated for the works by thte RTA. No timeframe has been given.

Construction of a three (3) metre wide concrete shared use path along the north western side of Delhi Road from Epping Road to the M2 westbound on-ramp
Installation of 3.6 metre kerb ramps at the intersection of Lane Cove Road and Talavera Road associated with the shared use crossing (lantern upgrade by RTA);
Installation of 3.6 metre kerb ramps at the intersection of Hitech Access Road and Talavera Road associated with the shared use crossing (lantern upgrade by RTA);
Installation of 3.6 metre kerb ramps at the intersection of Khartoum Road and Talavera Road associated with the shared use crossing (lantern upgrade by RTA);
Installation of 3.6 metre kerb ramps at the intersection of Macquarie Centre Access and Talavera Road associated with the shared use crossing (lantern upgrade by RTA);
Installation of 3.6 metre kerb ramps at the intersection of Herring Road and Talavera Road associated with the shared use crossing (lantern upgrade by RTA);
Installation of 3.6 metre kerb ramps at the intersection of Macquarie University entrance and Talavera Road/Christie Road associated with the shared use crossing;
Traffic, bicycle and pedestrian management along Vimiera Road from Marsfield Park to Epping Road
Construction of a three (3) metre wide concrete shared use path through Pembroke Park from Pembroke Road, Marsfield to Terrys Creek
Design of proposed shared use path along Talavera Road (missing sections)
Design of proposed shared use path along Culloden Road.
Upgrade the existing shared use path facility at the south western corner of the Epping Road/Pembroke Street intersection, including associated kerb ramps and pathway staging/storage area.
Construction of a three (3) metre wide concrete shared use path from the bridge over Terrys Creek to Pembroke Street
